About Dr. Masoumi

Dr. Ali Masoumi received his Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Western States. Interested in the field of sports medicine, he continued his education and received a Masters degree in Sports Medicine with a focus in exercise and rehabilitation. Continuing with his postdoctoral education, he is now a resident of a 4-year sports sciences fellowship program through the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences.

Dr. Masoumi is an Internationally Certified Sports Chiropractic Practitioner and a proud member of The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic. Working with national and international athletes and promoting the effectiveness of sports chiropractic has been Dr. Masoumi’s lifelong goal and interest.

Working with the athletes at the IOC Americans Masters Games, International Softball Championship, UBC Men’s Hockey team, PGA Canada, Canadian Futsal Association and the University of Fraser Valley are just a few examples of his past on field experiences.

Strong proponent of evidence based practice; he is a Clinician-Member of the British Columbia Chiropractic Practice-Based Research Network, Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Club and the British Columbia Sports Medicine Research Foundation at the University of British Columbia.
